Like all living things, our Judaic practice now expands, recognizes and honours more of our history.

This chalice references the timbrel that Miriam played on the shores of Yam Suf. The disc around the chalice bowl is etched with the sentence from the Torah that states: “Miriam , the prophetess, took the timbrel in her hand, and all the women followed her.” The bells that dangle from the disc chime softly when moved.
